This nationally recognised training skill set is designed for persons seeking registration as a business activity statement (BAS) agent with the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB).
This Skill Set, from the FNS Financial Services Training Package, together with the appropriate assessment methods as set by the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) meets the requirements for a course in basic GST/BAS taxation principles that is approved by the TPB. Persons seeking BAS agent registration should check with the TPB for details of other current registration requirements.
This skill set includes the Theory and Practical Assignment and assessment questions for competency in the following units:
- FNSTBP412 Establish and maintain payroll systems; and
- FNSTPB411 Complete business activity and instalment activity statements

payroll’s legal and statutory obligations in relation to the provision of payroll services.
This online quiz module CPE assessment covers:
- Payroll legislation
- National Employment standards

- Record keeping requirements
- Reimbursements as well as basic salary sacrifice and contractor v employee issues.
This is an online quiz module and the CPD hours gained on completion = 8 CPD. Students have three attempts to obtain 80%. If you require an extension you may purchase an additional 30 day extension for $50 within 30 days of the expiry of the original course – i.e. a total of 90 days from the date you originally purchased the course from the instruction letter provided to you. Upon attaining 80% in this course a Certificate will be issued for CPE activity.

This online course introduces learners to the the world of 'bookkeeping' and is excellent for those with little or no accounting experience. It introduces the practice of basic accounting and bookkeeping. Gives learner's an opportunity to understand the bookkeeping world without any assessments or exams.
This unit makes up part 1 of the BAS Agent Registration Skill Set as required by the Tax Practitioners Board. The MYOB Student Edition AcountRight Plus program will be required to be installed on your PC to complete this assessment which is located below.
